ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
At BYL, our management and staff are organized based on a profit (cost) center concept for effective management of each project related activity. Profit centers compete with one another in regards to conformity and profitability, while cost centers compete in cost conservation.BYL - THE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICED PROVIDER
Simply put, we offer industry in Thailand access to world-class environmental services to mange, transport, recycle, reuse and dispose of chemical and industrial wastes. Our company goals are based on meeting the customer's need for:

SELECTION OF WASTE TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES
Waste can generally be divided into two categories: organic and inorganic. Organic wastes can be best treated through incineration or use as synthetic fuel while inorganic waste can be treated by physical chemical stabilization and landfill. All of the technologies employed by BYL conform to Thai regulatory requirements as well as USEPA and EC standards.To mange the widest rage of organic wastes, BYL has used a blending approach to allow for collection and treatment of both liquid and solid organic materials. Our waste to fuel blending program has been designed to produce three forms of fuel: 1) liquid, 2) solids and 3) semi-solids (blended) so as to meet the needs of the waste types to be managed and the preferences of the cement kiln operator.
OPERATIONS AND POLICY
BYL operates in compliance with local and international laws while employing proven internationaly recognized and locally approved procedures. Our company has extensive experience in the waste management field, both locally and internationally, and we have demonstrated our ability to train staff, provide proper safety and work conditions and to create a structure which maintains internationally accepted standards. Customer services provided by BYL are tailored to each customer need. Examination of the customers waste management project requirements are reviewed based on regulatory mandates and customer needs so as to optimise disposal requirements and related costs.Waste Profile
BYL assists the client in completing the waste profile as required by local laws, as well as in determining what category the waste materials fall into. This assistance is free of charge and is meant to serve as an education toll.Sampling and Treatability Test
Waste samples are collected and tested so as to determine the most suitable treatment method. This treatability test also allows us to determine the most cost effective treatment option.Pre-Acceptance Analysis
Prior to treatment, waste is sampled for a "fingerprint" chemical analysis to verify that the material is the same as originally tested. This analysis focuses on key hazardous constituents. If a discrepancy is found, the customer is notified and the waste is held back until the discrepancy is resolved.Transportation
We provide complete transportation services for our customers (some independent, approved transporters are also used). These services include rental containers, pick-up, special packing and over-the-road transport. Drivers are specially trained in safety and driving practices are monitored. All trucks are equipped with specialized equipment for spills or accidents.QA/QC
Our quantity assurance/quality control system conforms to ISO 14001 standards and the facilities employed by the firm for waste disposal also conform to this standard so that we can maintain ISO 14001 certification.Waste Manifest and Waste Tracking System
Regulatory compliance is assured through a "manifest" system whereby the waste is identified, tracked and accounted for. This Manifest is submitted to the customer upon conclusion of the waste disposal process, as well as being maintained on file at our office.Security
All facilities employed by BYL for waste disposal are appropriately fenced, sign posted and monitored. Securityguards man gates and identification is required for entrance to any portion of the facilities. Visitor escorts are required.Emergency Response
Our operating plan includes extensive emergency response guidance. A specialized vehicle is present on site with an assigned crew. This vehicle and support crew can go to the scene of any transportation emergency and will be available to customers and the community in case of chemical waste related emergencies.Staffing
All our personnel, international and local hire, are provided with the technical or specialized skills training required so as to allow them to perform their duties to acceptable standards.Training
Training is an integral part of operations at BYL. Our operating staff are trained in project execution, which includes hands-on operations, facilities orientation and equipment operation. This produces individuals who are not only competent in task execution, but are also able to select the most compliant and cost effective means of disposing of our customer's wastes. Furthermore, on-going review sessions and specific task training are held at regular intervals.Health and Safety (internal and external)
The essence of our mission is protection of life, properly and the environment. Safety training, health checks and monitoring are a normal part of operating procedures. Proper equipment, procedures and strict enforcement of safe operating methods provide the basis for an accident free working environment.Community Relations and Oversight Committee
At BYL we have an open door policy allowing customers to view and understand our activities and waste management methods. We interface regularly with the community and often meet with academic and technical experts to discuss environmental and safety related matters.
